(hereinafter referred to as “EverSystem”) has established the following policy regarding the handling of personal information, and will publicly announce and comply with it.

1 (Compliance with Laws and Regulations)
We will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, related laws, guidelines, and this Privacy Policy in the acquisition, use, and other handling of personal information of our customers.

2 (Efforts to Protect Users’ Rights and Interests)
The Company implements the following major initiatives to protect the rights and interests of users with respect to their personal information.
(1) At the request of the individual, the Company will stop sending direct mailings, stop encouraging telephone calls, and take other measures.
(2) We outsource all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope of the purpose of use.
We select contractors that are deemed to handle personal information appropriately, and in the contract, we properly stipulate safety control, confidentiality, and other matters related to the handling of personal information, and supervise the contractors as necessary and appropriate.

3 (Specification and Public Announcement of Purpose of Use)
We will specify as much as possible the purpose of use of the personal information we have acquired from our customers, and announce it publicly in advance. In addition, when obtaining personal information directly from customers in written documents such as contracts, etc., the Company will clearly state the purpose of use to the customers in advance.

4 (Use within the scope of the purpose of use)
We will handle your personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose(s) of use specified and announced in advance. However, in the following cases, the Company may handle customers’ personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use specified and publicized in advance without obtaining customers’ consent.
(1) When required by law
(2) When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer
(3) When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent.
(4) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to perform duties as prescribed by law, and obtaining the customer’s consent may impede the performance of those duties.

5 (Proper Acquisition)
We will not acquire personal information through deception or other wrongful means.

6 (Retention Period)
The Company will retain customers’ personal information for a specified period of time within the scope necessary for the purpose of use, and will delete customers’ personal information without delay after the retention period has elapsed or after the purpose of use has been achieved. However, this does not apply in the following cases
(1) When the information must be stored in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
(2) When the individual concerned consents to the deletion.

7 (Security Control Measures)
We will endeavor to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date, and will take necessary and appropriate security control measures to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, leakage, loss, or damage.

8 (Supervision of Employees)
We will provide necessary and appropriate supervision of our employees to ensure the safe management of our customers’ personal information. We will also provide our employees with the necessary education and training to ensure the proper handling of personal information.

9 (Supervision of Subcontractors)
We will outsource the handling of personal information, in whole or in part, within the scope of the purposes of use, for sales and reception of various products and services, fee collection-related operations, marketing operations, and other operations. In this case, we will select a company that is deemed to handle personal information properly, and in the consignment contract, we will properly stipulate safety control, confidentiality, conditions for re-consignment, and other matters related to the handling of personal information, and conduct necessary and appropriate supervision.

10 (Provision to Third Parties)
We will not provide your personal information to any third party without your consent, except in the following cases

11 (Anonymous Processed Information)
We will provide acquired personal information to third parties as anonymized processed information. In creating anonymized processed information, the Company shall comply with the standards of the Personal Information Protection Commission and follow the processing methods of authorized personal information protection organizations. In addition, we will take safety control measures and implement necessary and appropriate supervision over the creation and handling of anonymized processed information.

12 (Request for Disclosure, etc.)
If you wish to be notified of the purpose of use of your personal information, or to have your personal information disclosed, or to have it corrected, added or deleted, or to have its use suspended or its provision to a third party stopped, please follow the procedures separately prescribed by us. Please refer to the Company’s website for the procedures for requesting disclosure of personal information.

13 (Handling of Complaints)
The Company will respond promptly and appropriately to complaints and other inquiries from customers regarding the handling of personal information.

14 (Response to the Occurrence of a Leak)
In the event of a leakage, etc., of a customer’s personal information, we will take appropriate action, including promptly notifying the customer of the facts.

15 (Continuous Improvement)
We will strive to continuously improve the handling of personal information within the company through the development of internal regulations regarding the protection of personal information, employee training, and the implementation of internal audits.
